The NETGEAR R6300 runs OpenWrt 24.10.4 on the bcm47xx/mips74k target, and has been supported since 17.01.0. Its WiFi 5 (AC) wireless on the b43 driver rates limited for open-source driver support (0.35/1.0), installation is rated moderate, and it is no longer sold new. Its wireless does not work correctly under OpenWrt, so it is listed here for reference rather than as a recommendation.

Installation on this device is rated moderate. Expect to use a recovery mode, TFTP or a vendor tool rather than a plain web upload. Documented methods: CFE TFTP + serial recovery, see devicepage.
