FriendlyARM NanoPi R5C: OpenWrt Compatibility Report
The FriendlyARM NanoPi R5C runs OpenWrt 25.12.1 on the rockchip/armv8 target, and has been supported since 24.10.0. Its WiFi 5 (AC) wireless on the other driver rates fair for open-source driver support (0.60/1.0), installation is rated easy, and it is still sold new.
