SmartRG SDG-9000: OpenWrt Compatibility Report
The SmartRG SDG-9000 runs OpenWrt from snapshot builds only on the mediatek/filogic target, so there is no stable release for it yet. It has no wireless radio, and its open-source driver support rates fair (0.50/1.0), installation is rated moderate, and it is still sold new.

Installing OpenWrt on the SDG-9000
Installation on this device is rated moderate. Expect to use a recovery mode, TFTP or a vendor tool rather than a plain web upload. Documented methods: see git-commit.
Flashing third-party firmware can brick a router and usually voids the warranty. Always check that the firmware image matches your exact hardware version.
