The ASUS ZenWiFi BT8 runs OpenWrt 25.12.5 on the mediatek/filogic target, and has been supported since 25.12.0. Its WiFi 7 (BE) wireless on the mt76 driver rates excellent for open-source driver support (0.95/1.0), installation is rated moderate, and it is still sold new.

Installing OpenWrt on the ZenWiFi BT8
